Basecamp Project Management (basecamphq.com)

Not having had any real experience with project management software other than Microsoft Project at university, and Trac and Redmine at my last job it was time to find something, online based, to help manage the startup process. My partner recommended basecamphq.com – I went ahead and signed up, very straight forward process, dropped my credit card details, went for the Plus Plan for $49/month (30 day free trial) and had my account within minutes.

99Designs.com experience/review

In my last post I mentioned a startup that I will be launching with my partner on the Polish market. It’s an internet startup as you may have guess and we’re on stage 3 of 5 to get it up and live; that stage happens to be design. After discussing various options we decided to test out the famed 99Designs.com as for this particular project it really made sense – we had the wireframes, we knew exactly what we wanted, so throwing in the creativity of 10′s of designers could give us exactly what we were looking for instead of going back and fourth to a single designer or team with revisions the traditional way.

Although it’s still relatively early (1 day, 8 hours into the contest) I wanted to write this review as a sort of chronological experience, and not all at once at the end.
